SECTION 1

What are the approvals required for executing a fitout project in Dubai Main Land which means license is issued by Dubai Economic Department (DED).

The location of the project will determine the process of approval and the involving authorities. However if the project site is in Mainland Dubai, then (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, (DM) Dubai Municipality should be enough apart from the building management approvals. DEWA approvals to be obtained (if required). Therefore the process goes like this:

1)      Layout prepared by us to obtain client agreement and approval.

2)      Preparation of full set of drawings based on the building guidelines and submitting the same for obtaining NOC and drawing approvals from them.

3)      Prepare and submit the necessary drawings and submit to (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, (DM) Dubai Municipality and DEWA. Submissions to all 3 authorities can be done simultaneously.

SECTION 2

What are the approvals required for executing a fitout project in TECOM?

If the project site is in Tecom, Dubai, then (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, DDA (Dubai Development Authority) should be good apart from the building management approvals. DEWA approvals to be obtained if required. Therefore the process goes like this:

1)      Layout prepared to obtain client agreement and approval.

2)      Preparation of full set of drawings based on the building guidelines and submitting the same for obtaining NOC and drawing approvals from building management.

3)      Prepare and submit the necessary drawings and submit to (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, DDA (Dubai Development Authority) and DEWA. Submissions to these 3 authorities can be done simultaneously.

SECTION 3

What are the approvals required if the project is in Dubai Mall?

If the project site is in Dubai Mall, then DM and DCD should be enough apart from EMAAR approvals. DEWA approvals to be obtained if required. Therefore the process goes like this:

1)      Layout is prepared to obtain client agreement and approval.

2)      Preparation of full set of drawings based on EMAAR guidelines and submitting the same for obtaining NOC and drawing approvals from them.

3)      Prepare and submit the necessary drawings and submit to (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality and DEWA. Submissions to these 3 authorities can be done simultaneously.

 

SECTION 4

What are the approvals required if the project is in Academic City?

If the project site is in Academic City, then DDA and DCD should be enough apart from building management approvals. DEWA approvals to be obtained if required. Therefore the process goes like this:

1)      Drawings prepared to obtain client agreement and approval.

2)      Preparation of full set of drawings based on building guidelines and submitting the same for obtaining NOC and drawing approvals from them.

3)      Prepare and submit the necessary drawings and submit to (DCD) Dubai Civil Defense, DDA and DEWA. Submissions to these 3 authorities can be done simultaneously.

Yes, we do have an inhouse joinery manufacturing facility fully equipped with required machineries.

 

Do you do veneer works inhouse?

Yes we do veneer works including cutting, slicing, stitching and pressing and polishing – all inhouse.

 

Do you sell loose furniture?

Yes, we do sell loose furniture. Infact, we stock good number of workstations and other office furniture.

What is the warranty on furniture?

All furniture comes with a warranty of 1 year minimum and there is a possibility to extend warranty for customized furniture (this should be discussed).
